About Our Ibogaine Treatment Center
Freedom Ibogaine is an ibogaine clinic in Rosarito, Mexico, on the Pacific coast of Baja California, just below Tijuana. People come to us to break free from opioids, fentanyl, alcohol, stimulants and the weight of trauma. Most of them have already tried detox, rehab or years of maintenance medication and want something different.
We built our program around one medically supervised ibogaine flood dose, and we built everything else around keeping that dose safe and making it count. Licensed medical doctors and nurses run your care. Therapy, yoga, sound healing and a 5-MeO-DMT session are part of your stay, and you spend your days in a clinic that looks out over the Pacific.
We’re not a hospital, and we’re not a weekend retreat. Think of us as a medical team that takes the experience as seriously as the screening.
Every guest starts the same way: a heart tracing, lab tests and a sit-down with our doctors. Nothing else happens until that’s done.

Licensed Doctors and Nurses
Our licensed medical doctors and nurses are with you through your whole stay. On the night of your flood dose, two physicians and our whole team of nurses stay close while a monitor tracks your heart. How the flood dose works →
An Ocean-View Clinic
Wake up to the Pacific, enjoy good meals and rest in a quiet, comfortable clinic with views of the ocean. Your treatment night happens in a private room with music and a soft light projector.
One Program Price
Your seven nights, the medical care, therapy, yoga, sound healing and 5-MeO-DMT come in one price. We don’t take insurance. Veterans and first responders get a lower rate. See the program price →
What We Believe
Three ideas shape the way we run Freedom Ibogaine.
Your Heart Comes First
Ibogaine affects the rhythm of the heart, so we screen everyone, plan each dose around your history and keep a doctor at your side while it works. If your results say ibogaine isn’t right for you, we’ll tell you plainly and won’t take your booking.
No Promises We Can’t Keep
Nobody can honestly promise you a cure or quote you a success rate, and we won’t try. What we can promise is careful medicine, a team that tells you the truth and a week built to give you the best possible start.
Care for the Whole Person
Addiction rarely lives only in the body. That’s why your stay includes therapy, movement and time to rest and reflect, so you go home with more than a clear system. You go home with a plan.
Ibogaine has no FDA approval, and the research is young. We follow it closely and say so plainly. What the research shows →
More Than a Flood Dose
The flood dose opens a door. What you do with the days around it matters just as much.
Therapy. You’ll have one-on-one sessions to talk through what comes up and plan for life at home, plus group sessions where you hear from others walking the same road.
Yoga. Gentle classes help you get back into your body as you recover.
Sound healing. Guided sessions with bowls and tones, a calm way to rest your mind in the days after treatment.
5-MeO-DMT
Many people who choose ibogaine also look into 5-MeO-DMT, a fast-acting psychedelic that some describe as a sense of peace or connection. A guided 5-MeO-DMT session is part of our program, at no extra cost, with our medical team on hand.
Who Comes to Us
Our guests come from all walks of life. Most are dealing with one of these.
Opioids and Fentanyl
Ibogaine has been studied for opioids more than for anything else. We treat fentanyl, methadone, Suboxone, kratom and 7-OH, plus heroin and pain pills.
Alcohol and Stimulants
We also care for people trying to stop drinking, cocaine or crack and meth, including people who use more than one.
PTSD and Trauma
Some guests come for the pain underneath the using. We see a lot of PTSD and trauma, and we welcome veterans and first responders at a lower price.
From Your First Call to Your Last Night
1. We talk. Call or apply online, and we’ll go over what you use, your health and your goals.
2. We plan. Our doctors review your medications and set your dates.
3. You arrive. Land in San Diego, and our team sets up your ride down the coast.
4. You’re screened. Heart tracing, labs and a full medical review come first.
5. Your flood dose. Typically your second or third day, in a private room with doctors and nurses beside you. What that night is like →
6. You recover. Therapy, yoga, sound healing, your 5-MeO-DMT session and plenty of rest before you head home.
What Your Seven Nights Include
Your stay covers your screening, the flood dose with medical supervision, one-on-one and group therapy, yoga, sound healing, a 5-MeO-DMT session, every meal and care at all hours. If you’re coming off methadone, Suboxone, fentanyl or kratom, you may need extra nights first, priced once we’ve seen your screening results.

About Freedom Ibogaine: Your Questions

Yes. Every guest gets one-on-one therapy and joins group sessions during the stay. It’s included in the program price.
5-MeO-DMT is a fast-acting psychedelic compound. Many people who seek out ibogaine are curious about it too, so we include a guided session in the program, with our medical team close by. Like ibogaine, it isn’t FDA-approved, and research on it is early.
US federal law puts ibogaine in Schedule I, so no American clinic can legally give it. Mexico doesn’t prohibit it, which lets us treat people legally and under medical care. Ibogaine and US law →
Ibogaine can be dangerous, chiefly for the heart, and it isn’t right for everyone. That’s why every guest gets an EKG and lab work, and why doctors and nurses watch over every dose with heart monitoring. Some heart conditions and medications rule ibogaine out.
One price covers your seven nights, including the medical care, therapy and the rest of the program. There’s a discount for veterans and first responders, and we don’t take insurance. Current pricing →
Seven nights for most people. Long-acting opioids like methadone, Suboxone and fentanyl, or kratom, can add days at the start so they clear before your flood dose.
Of course. Call us or send a message below. Asking questions doesn’t commit you to anything, and we’re glad to talk with family members too.
Comfortable clothes, something warm for cool evenings by the ocean, your passport, every medication you take in its original bottle, and anything that helps you rest, like a book or headphones.
Before you leave, your therapist helps you put together a plan for the first weeks back: who you’ll lean on, what to avoid and which support you’ll rely on at home.
